Unfortunately, these PCCs were built mostly by Tatra in former
Czechoslovakia or several dozen units are Belgian built (Holland, Belgium,
France). This company (Tatra) built over 13,000 PCC type cars of one single
type (T3) and also several thousand cars of other different types, partly
using PCC designs.
But there are a few American built PCC survivors in several European cities,
all of them originally from Washington DC. Something is in Barcelona (Spain)
and one unit (fully operable but used only for charters) is in Sarajevo,
former Yugoslavia (photo).
