Just a quick note before I run:::::::
.
Kenosha also has PCCs but that is more like a Museum operation
currently. The PCCs in Kenosha are from the last newly built PCCs for
Toronto.
.
You and Mark should come to SF some time -- maybe a future PRCo get
together could be in SF. We have PCCs from Philly and Newark (ex-Twin
Cities PCCs) as well as vintage equipment. It is only one long line
but with quite varied operation -- with the addition of a loop near
CalTrain PCCs could see Much More Service. Car #1 is the original car
with which Muni started service in 1912 and it has often held down a
schedule admirably. If we can get a group together we could then
charter a car and go many other places than the F line.
.
Such a trip should also include time for travel to other spots -
Redwoods in Humboldt, coast, Parks, etc. M~U~C~H to do out here.
