Perhaps that's what I was referring to.
Why the rest of the line was "suspended", I don't know.
A non-railfan friend who grow up in Philadelphia (he is a longtime transit
user) has said he believes the seemingly senseless decisions made by some
members of SEPTA's management team and some of the politicians along the
various routes could be tied mob activity, i.e., "skimming" transit funds,
kickbacks from transit funding, etc.
I never considered that possibility.
