But what else would you expect from T management?  I can guarentee you that these students are not the only people capable of discovering the security flaw.  Why not: 'thank you for bringing this flaw to our attention - now how can we correct it??  Instead it looks like 'lets shoot the messenger'.
 
Isn't this the same management that goes ballistic when a camera appears near their property?
 
I bet Derrick could provide us with a long list of instances in the computer field where companies don't want to recognize and deal with flaws in their software.
