Excellent comments.  Mr.Schneider's statistics are the beginning of much better comparisons;  deaths/miles driven seems even better doesn't it.  Facts and 'figgers' can be used to make any argument seems to be what you are saying.  Please forgive but I forgot that until your reminder.

Another old saying we need to remember - take it with a grain of salt  (or two.)
