I had one credit card holder nearly double my credit limit about 60 days
ago. Too bad (for them) that I'll never use very much of it...the largest
purchase under the previous limit was a bunch of stuff for PTM that might
have approached 25% of the allowable. It's a card I use for online
purchases, and not terribly frequently. Oh, yes, my E-Z Pass automatically
reloads to this card, too.
I think there's plenty of credit out there for people who don't need it and
won't use it!

I could still pay off my house using the available balance on just one card.
Of course, I am suffering because no one is buying, but not that badly. The
mortgage cost is low.
Needless to say, I do not plan to do that.
