Interesting points Mr.Matsick!

Part of what Mr.Schneider missed about Portland is planning ahead
by creating living communities and higher density around the rail
stations.  What you mention about Pgh spreads everyone over a
tremendous distance which makes transit service more difficult.

Oil is finite isn't it.  The clock still moves forward doesn't it.
Tech is not keeping pace with oil depletion is it.  Eventually
those nearest transit will benefit while those further away
will need to drastically change their habits.

Portland is working now and may work even better as time
marches on.
