[PRCo] Computer incompatibilities

To the list;

I was reading emails at the archives before joining. I still check the archives and found
that my emails showed each paragraph as one very long line which makes for
difficult reading through scrolling like this:

Some others also come through this way but not from everyone:

To overcome this I make short lines 'as a paragraph' by installing a hard return; this
is much more readable at the website:

This does not consistently work for I don't consistently remember to insert the
hard return; there may be other incompatibilities that prevent reasonable length lines
as well.

The 'best / worst' email was composed in another program and pasted into an yahoo
email. I then went back through the email and placed hard returns for each line.
When sent (even the one in my sent folder) revealed a plethora of 'jaggies.'
I only assume that the 'soft returns' inserted for word wrap within the other program
were then turned into hard returns by yahoo. That still doesn't explain all the jaggies.
The incompatibilities appear to be between yahoo and various programs, not the
list email program.

My apologies for all this confusion even though I took great pains to make
readable posts. I tested a resend of my original 'best / worst' email and shall now
repost it.

Phil
