Jerry since you asked and I was part of the politics, religion, and health
care thread, yes I have a HO trolley layout. Bob Dietrich is my mentor and
prod.
The cars I currently operate are:
Boston: Center Entrance car; Type 5 car, Type 4 car, picture window PCC
Baltimore: Peter Witt and St. Louis built PCC
LVT: 1000 car, 812, and a Jewett 800 car
Red Arrow: Center Door car, 80 car, Brilliner, and pair of St. Looies
Toronto: pair of A-12 PCC's-ex Cleveland, ex-Louisville
Illinois Terminal-PCC
CA&E-post war St. Louis car
Pittsburgh-1200 series car
Washington-1050 series car
San Francisco: doubled ended PCC(not Magic Carpet)
Philadelphia: 2000 series PCC and 8000 series car
Detroit: first order PCC 125
Kansas City PCC-roll out this weekend
no-name box motor which pulls my track cleaner
What is coming-some in late 2009: Baltimore Brilliner; LVT 1030; Toronto
CLRV; if John Kennedy has 'em, LVT 700's, and last but not least, Howard
Andrews' marvelous Pittsburgh 3800 car, when Bob and I decide to do them.
What I pine for is a model of a Red Arrow 40 series Jewett car-trying to get
John Kennedy to take the bait.
Then a very affordable model of Pacific Electric PCC about to be
released-hmmm. And the soon-to-be released ConCor PCC's.
As you might gather, I am a car building addict. It is time to turn by
energies and labor to getting my layout in better finish. To that end, I
have promised Bob to observe a car building moratorium until the layout
meets his tough expectations! RICH
