Only Milwaukee received TDH-4511s new. They were wider than the 4512s.
"Old Looks", "Loaves of Bread", "Trolley Killers", call 'em what you like. 
They were well designed, comfortable and long-lived.

Well into Milwaukee's "Fishbowl Era", as many as possible were used in 
extremely snowy weather as their weight distribution made them ideal on 
snowy streets. Many of the Fishbowls got the day off during blizzards.

And I can tell you from first hand experience they had great heating 
systems.

Oh, and I included a photo of a 1700 with a GMC coach at SHJ in a lousy 
attempt to tie this in with Western Pennsylvania traction. ;-)
