Weird.   Remember when women used to complain that their men sat  
glued to the television set watching football and the women were not  
interested?

Last night I was having dinner in a Japanese restaurant in Lancaster  
with an old high school classmate.  There were two other groups  
clustered around the grill.   The women were all talking football,  
including the Steelers.   We men were simply sitting there in  
bewildered amazement.   One man simply said that football is his  
wife's thing.   He admitted he had no interest at all but that she  
watched all the games.   The lady I was with never misses a game.   
She just bought a 42 inch flat screen television set, the better to  
see the pig skin in high definition.   Strange.  I've had to buy a  
copy of "Football for Dummies" to keep up.

I think there is some other change too.   Remember the old line,  
"Real men don't eat  Quiche?"    I was absolutely enjoying my mixture  
of sushi and Marty made the comment that I should not even think of  
offer any to her.  I guess today real women only eat porterhouse  
steak in a Japanese restaurant.
