The siding is behind you, Mark, south of this intersection. What you are
describing is the precise view featured on the cover of PTM's 2007 calendar,
at a no-longer-extant intersection along Denise Street. I'd have to get
into the city topos to tell you the name of the cross street.

Subject: [PRCo] Smith Siding
A simple question for those who know. Now I'm standing at Smith Stop on the
old Overbrook line looking north. There is a road crossing right there that
sort of goes diagonally across the tracks. Was Smith Siding to the north(the
direction I'm looking beyond the curve) or to the south(behind me)? If
south, was it immediately after Smith Stop heading south(outbound)? Thanks!
