Here is another image that you might like ... Dave Hamley sent it to
me ... came from Google Earth. Shows the Pennsylvania Trolley
Museum. You can see almost all of the right of way except for the
loop at the Arden Mines end of the line.
North Main Street goes across the old PRR and over Chartiers Creek
(virtually invisible) and under I-70 at the right edge of the
picture. You can see the large parking lot for the Thepitt
factory. Adjacent to the parking lot is our east site loop. It is
not a complete circle like a ball .. its flat on the southwest or
parking lot side.

To the left of the parking lot you can see the long, narrow (ration
about 1:4) trolley display building with a silver roof. It will be
the operating carbarn eventually. The picture was taken before the
tracks were in to the east end of the building from the mainline.

The Fair Grounds, with its race track, is at the left side of the map.

The Y shaped building 1/3 from the left and 1/3 from the top is the
new Washington County Home (alms house or old farts home or home for
the indigent).

Drive north on the road to the left of the County home about 2/3s of
the way to the top of the picture ... at a clearing in the woods ...
patch of green above it ... that's Bruce Well's "Chateau." The home
he built to have a place to go when he is at the museum.

To the left edge you see a road going up to Arden Mines from Main
Street, and next to it (to it's right) you see the trolley line.
