The maps certainly weren't current. The Overbrook track from Brookline was
out of service in 1910 after just a couple months' running. The loop in
Trafford belonged to West Penn Railways. Which route is shown connecting
Wilmerding and McKeesport? The earlier was abandoned in 1903, the latter in
1936 or so. One belongs on this map. Route 65 wasn't owned by PRCo in
1924, was it? And the rail connection between Etna and Sharpsburg went away
in the very dark ages.
The point is that you can't believe everything that was published...just
like today.

--Brookline still connected to Overbrook --Wilmerding connected to
McKeesport --Trafford City shows an around the block loop --65-line started
but far from completion --East Ohio street rail continuous from North Side
to Aspinwall
