Phil,
Which issue of Traction Heritage are you citing? I quickly went through the
ERJ indexes for 1923 through 1925 and didn't find a major article
encompassing all these things. But I know Vane Jones's propensity for
making things look different from the way they were, and probably could
bigure most of it out if I could find the original pieces.
Thanks,
Ed

Subject: [PRCo] Electric Railways Journal -- 1925
I have been browsing through my collection of Traction Heritage which
reprints selections from this journal. How fast 'news' made it into the
journal is anyone's guess isn't it so the actual events have taken place
anywhere from months to years before publication. Included is a nice 4-page
article about PRC reorganization of 1924. I am dividing this into several
different topics; maybe Mr. Lybarger and Mr. Swindler will be able to expand
on this article.
The summary of the article reads: "Since the Reorganization in 1924 the
Financial Position of the Company Has Been Strengthened and Much New
Equipment Purchased---Public Relations Have Been Improved and Relief from
Paving Obligations Has Been Obtained---An Abstract of the Agreement with the
City is Given.
