I briefly scanned the book last weekend at PTM and was disappointed to see 
no information on the Widow's Home.  I have strong memories from there as 
that was the only home I ever knew my grandmother Cramer to occupy.  My 
brother and I spent our childhoods wandering around the North Side when 
visiting in the 60's.  There was not much to do in a 1 room apartment with 
no facilities or hot running water.

They have now been turned into luxury apartments!
