I found the original article this morning...not quite sure how I missed it
yesterday, but it was indeed a single entity published May 23, 1925 in
Volume 65, page 799. The map is a Madison Avenue effort in accuracy, but
everything else appears to be in order. The $100/300K item that Phil
questioned is accurate...there were two components of the $300,000, one of
$100K and the other of $200K. It's explained in the text on the right
column below the map.
I've attached scans of all four pages from the Traction Heritage issue.
Just remember to use the map in your head instead of this one!
