I guess Homewood was full and the ALCO building was cheap.  They already had
some kind of shop/storeroom at Manchester, though.  We have that "scrap
book" with the disintegrating flamingo pages that has the photos of
Manchester stores in 1920.  [The photos aren't disintegrating, just the
substrate on which they are mounted.]

I find interesting the expenditure for Manchester shop in 1925.   In  
just a few more years the Depression was upon us, riding us down, car
overhauls became mileage based to save money, and the shop was closed.
