The museum group chartered car 1705 early in 1974 (my slides were processed
in February and I remember it was cold), right after it came out of the shop
with the new front.  I could look up that date in the library but don't
think it's significant to the discussion.  The acquisition from JTC took
place in 1972 or 1973 (probably the former) but isn't specifically
chronicled.  It was not as early as 1971.

Do you have a date for this?  I am guessing in the 1960s.  It would be nice
to compare photos (if any) to see if there are any subtle differences.
