Of course it is a 1917 car, just like many restored historic airplanes, automobiles, and steam locomotives, etc.
Guess you didn't read David Morgan's comments about encountering the 4-4-0s up in Canada. It expresses my sentiments.
Changing to public transit, did you see my pix on the front page of the Patriot News? And no, it wasn't about a bonus. (:>) I'm the guy in blue shirt on right side of the Hershey bus. The article was about increased CAT ridership. I'm anxious to see some ridership numbers on the effect of $4 gas, particularly in LA where it is possible to compare light rail and busways.
