Wendell Cox's credentials are not without rebuke.   He spends more  
time fighting railway projects than supporting them.  The man is an  
hired gun for the highway industry masquerading as a transit  
consultant.   The Post Gazette will tell you how many people PAT is  
hauling but remember that the remember that the sole purpose of a  
press release is to make the agency or the corporation look good.   
Ridership (with apologies to Frank Goldsmith because it isn't a word)  
increases are news.   The agencies are giving that data to the  
media.  And it's on line.   The third URL is PAT ... open it and then  
click on the news room.  Another good source of data is thje FTA data
