Nor was there any on July 16, 1939 when they re-flew it. But there may be
one on the 5-17-39 photo APS-71-89 just north of Bell's, at maybe Station
298 or so.

Well, I see that there was no interurban car in Ed Lybarger's neighborhood
on November 9, 1938 when the plane made the aerial survey at Donaldson's
crossroads.
It was amazing to look at the neighborhood where I spent the first nine
years of my life in Penn Hills. That photo was also 1938, one year after my
parents built a house there. It was astonishing to see the street with so
many empty lots, many of which were filled in before I was even hatched or
before I could remember anything. Of course there was a building lull
during WW2.
I'm waiting for Jerry to comment on Donora....
