I came home from work Saturday afternoon only to find that the power was out in a very large area surrounding my house in N FL. We didn't get power back until between 3-4 AM so that was 17 hours without power. It is very boring with no power, and the eyes get very tired reading by candlelight. I should have invested in that generator like I wanted to. We had a very windy day here Saturday to say the least. I couldn't keep my cap on my head at work so I finally gave up.

But remember this was the same storm that caused tornadoes in the south last week, so you didn't really escape. You just didn't get the snow. I'd rather have 30 inches of snow than a tornado. At least my home will still be here. But we did have thunder and lighting last night. Strange for winter.

Wow Herb that is alot of snow there in Cleveland? How about Pittsbugh guys, how much snow did
yall get? Here in Jacksonville, the Azaleas are in full bloom, the cherry blossom trees are out
and looking great and sunny! Still miss the snow, I remember sitting in Castner School on McKean
Avenue in Donora on the 2nd Floor looking out as the PRCo snow sweeping car would go up to
First Street and Return on its way back down to Black Diamond, wonder where it went? Pittsburgh?
Charleroi? Anyone know.??
