This is late in the history of PRC isn't it.  I wonder if it contributed to higher safety guards on trestles; the railway used 18" of protection on either side of each track on a trestle didn't they - 12" on top of 6" - this would prevent a trolley from going over the edge unless it leaves the track before the trestle.  I checked the website but it is necessary to pay for the full article isn't it.  Not expensive but several dollars.

I'll have to look in the news clippings.  There's no record of this in the
list of cars destroyed by accident and fire.  Either it's missing or they
rebuilt the car.
