No trolley pole to worry about, no seats to turn over, no handles to carry from one end to the other: only have to lock the controls at the one end and unlock them at the other set the automatic destination signs and go.

Speaking of which, there is a plan to replace loop(s) at South Ferry in New York with stub end terminal(s). Guess in 2008 it is a lot quicker to reverse subway trains.
