When I worked at East Liberty bus garage (72-73) there were several GM
old-look model buses still in revenue service. I operated some of them
at various times. They were numbered in the 300-series and were all
painted in the PATransit Gray/White/Red colors. The shading on the B/W
photo of the accident appeared to me to be he PATransit paint scheme
which was uniformly applied to the GM old look buses. I will try to
check further, time permitting. Time, now that I have a "PART-time"
job, is getting scarce. Yesterday, a normal off-day for me at RTA
turned into running the Red Line Rapid from 7:52am until 4:37pm. I
love part-time work :-[
