There was a bus line in the late 40's  & early 50's that ran from Charleroi to Donora . I believe there was no name on the buses. Basic GMC, but, unfortunately 3 speed gearboxes. If over half full, we had to get off and walk up 4th street hill  (above PRCo "Lock View " stop) and he would pick us up again up on Pennsylvania Avenue. (Route 88 in North Charleroi). It served growing Carroll Twp in a way that PRCo could not.
