I was down in the tunnels several months ago and tried some photos. However,
bearing in mind the cars are sitting in two subway tunnels, the lighting was
not real great and the simple flash on my camera was not powerful enough to
brighten up the photo. They all came out too dark. The cars are interesting
to look at both inside and out. It looks like a quarter of the entire C A &
E fleet is down there. Several work cars, some PCCs, Peter Witts, etc.are
down there. It's just that the lighting is not the best. Some belong to RTA,
some belong to Lakeshore Electric. The Lakeshore cars will not be there too
much longer. They will probably leave as they are sold.
