I also graduated from North Catholic - in the 50's when several Rooneys were
there. For four years, our classroom seats were assigned alphabetically
A-Z, so in my column of desks it was Rathke and then Rooney (Tim). Tim and
I then went to Duquesne University. After graduation he went to work in the
front office of the Giants and Lions, and is now retired.
I remember that Tim walked to school, so I assume that Dan probably did too.
