Not necessarily, Fred.  Charles Darwin was also born on Feb. 12, 1809, but I too would make the assumption that Dennis was referring to Lincoln.
 
In the grand scheme of things, would rank Lincoln far superior to any of today's politicians.  This country is extremely fortunate that Lincoln was on the scene at that time of our country's need.  Suspect those south of Mason-Dixon line might take a dimmer view.  By comparison, look who came before and after him.
