My license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania says Music K-12.

I have taught:
grades 4-12 band, instrumental lessons
grades 7-12 chorus, vocal lessons
grades 7-8 classroom music
grades 9-12 music theory, music history

I have also taught marching band, majorettes, pom pom squad, flags, rifles.

I have directed an adult concert band for 25 years and also work with the
trombone choir at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (11 years).

While on sabbatical leave a few years ago, I attended the Conservatory of
Music at Purchase College, NY. While there I formed and directed the first
wind ensemble at that school. It is now part of their academic curriculum.

Prior to beginning my teaching career, I was a counselor in the maximum
security unit of the Youth Development Center at New Castle. I also taught
alcohol & drug awareness programs
through the local help center back in the late '70's.

I also taught the docents & operators at PTM for several years. I handle the
Operator for an Hour there.

The wonderful thing about teaching is the opportunity to learn from one's
students.
