Yes, it's in the snow. Not the first time I've seen the image, though not
hand-colored before.

If I had the time to do all the things everyone else thinks I ought to do,
I'd be a miracle worker! The fact is that I'm slowing down, not speeding
up, and am reducing the number of new things I get into until some of the
old ones are taken care of. There will, for example, a new exhibit at PTM
this Spring, but instead of the traditional 60-80 images, it might have 20.
I do not have the time right now to do more, and certainly not the energy.

The other element here involves the unwillingness of other people to be
corrected, since they are the "professionals." Too many times I've offered
facts to folks with mislabeled photos or manuscripts and they've totally
blown it off. So I've quit trying in a number of cases. I don't have the
time to waste on people who don't care.

As John Swindler so succinctly puts it, "Nothing is impossible to the person
who doesn't have to do the work."

Mr.Lybarger;

The UOP collection is stellar isn't it but I too have noted some big
mistakes in photo labeling. I overlook this because on the whole I am very
impressed with their efforts 'and results.'
Nevertheless, accuracy is important. Maybe it would be a good idea to
identify these msitakes here and then send them an email.
Someone with your credentials as Archivist for PTM would be ideal for this
job. Isn't it nice to be 'volunteered' for such a position on the first day
of the New Year?

I didn't see the picture but can do so 'mentally' from your description;
car looks shiny new and it is a snow scene.
