Yes.   I do recall that sometime in January 1966 there was a big snowfall.  School was cancelled, but we did see that an 88 Frankstown car made it through later that day.   Maybe they were getting thru most of the day?  I don't know - don't really recall.  Just recall the arc of electricity flashing on the line as the PCC made its way down Penn towards town.

So, last streetcars through Lawrenceville stopped 1-27-1967 when Routes
87 and 88 were converted to bus?

Great collection - thank you for sharing!

Reminds me of the winters we used to have, particularly back when the
streetcars ran through Lawrenceville.   Saw the snow sweeper at least
once on Penn Avenue between Main Street and Fortieth Street.  I thought
it was an "old-timer" passenger car, as my grandmother used to call
them, until I saw the brushes on the front.
