I also use the Historic Pittsburgh maps
http://digital.library.pitt.edu/maps/ City of Pittsburgh Geodetic and
Topographic series, even though most of the sheets are from before I was
born. I had used a clue from Tom Parkinson's earlier set of photos
http://picasaweb.google.ca/etbtraction/PRCoParkinsonSet1# to deduce that
one of the photos was on Southern Ave at Tambellini's restaurant, even
though the restaurant isn't on the snow photo. Bob Dietrich should be
able to ID photo 24 in that set.
We need the former North Siders to tell us where the first bunch of the
snow photos are located.

I just added comments to the Mt. Washington locations. Google maps sure
helps the memory...

Can anyone besides Derek B. and Bill ? add captions? I'd like to know
where some of the other locations were.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the help with locations on the PRCo pictures I posted last
year.
My digitizing of slides continues; over 20,000 now. The process is
described at http://www3.telus.net/public/wcpha/SlideDigitise.htm.
In touch with the winter season I have just posted 100 images of PCCs in
the snow: http://picasaweb.google.ca/etbtraction/PRCoSnow#
I hope you enjoy.
Tom Parkinson
