Yes, we're interested, Mark. Thanks.

If the word "collection" is correctly used, it means that someone else is
the photographer.

How's your weather forecast? We are coming to Orlando on Wednesday for a
week!

Thanks,
Ed

Subject: [PRCo] Re: Snow Pictures

What is interesting to me about the snow photos are a few photos of car
1500 on a winter fantrip. Quite a few years ago I purchased a small box of
photos with negatives attached from a little shop in Elgin, IL. There were
photos of this fantrip included and I sent them to Dave's site to be shared.
I feel rather cheesy having them posted with "The Mark McGuire Collection"
heading as they weren't my photos, merely a collection I stumbled upon. I
really wanted to know who took the photos. It could have been a number of
people who were on that fantrip in February, 1965. John Bromley pointed out
the fact that one of the photos(with negative attached on a manila envelope)
was on page 159 of "From Horsecars To Streamliners". Sure enough I checked
it out hoping to finally discover the photographer. Alas, all the caption
said was "from the James D. Johnson collection".
Were these winter photos taken by Tom Parkinson? If so, he was on that
fantrip and might be able to enlighten me as to who's photos I actually
stumbled upon. Maybe James D. Johnson actually took the photos, but I am not
sure.
Anyway, I'm done with them and would like to know if the museum would be
interested in some more photos with negatives. Ed? I would also like to
credit the actual photographer on Dave's site if possible.

some of the other locations were.

Gentlemen,

Thanks for the help with locations on the PRCo pictures I posted last year.

My digitizing of slides continues; over 20,000 now. The process is described
at http://www3.telus.net/public/wcpha/SlideDigitise.htm.

In touch with the winter season I have just posted 100 images of PCCs in

the snow: http://picasaweb.google.ca/etbtraction/PRCoSnow#

I hope you enjoy.

Tom Parkinson
