Thanks, Ken.  I thought Riverside had a second zone, but not sure of other lines.  But once in the subway, should have no problem exiting.  Or are there places where a fare is collected exiting??  Or rather such instances 50 years ago???
 
Seldom went to Boston, but many years ago - circa 1962 - a local railfan showed me how to maximize riding from one fare.  Vague recollection wass not to go to end of subway lines, because forced to exit at terminal stations, but there were stations near the end where a rider could cross over to inbound platform.  Could ride forever, but had to work at it.
