Some of you including Herb might like these.
First link, if encarta strips them in order, is Public Square in  
Cleveland.  I guess that is Euclid Avenue going out to the far right  
beyond the May Company sign.

The others show that Pittsburgh was not the only major city with  
inclined cable railways or funiculars.      Cincinnati had at least  
two.   The Mount Adams incline was on the southeast side of the city  
and was famous for transporting streetcars.   Price Hill was on the  
west side of downtown.   I don't know the Queen City that well but it  
could be that the Warsaw-Price Hill car line later replaced the  
incline ... it had PCCs operating over the rather famous loops.

The city government in Cincinnati is now fighting for a new light  
rail or trolley line and the NAACP is fighting equally hard to make  
sure the city spends the money on the black people instead.
