The graffiti ("scratchffiti") isn't there at the start of the day. Then they 
find it the next morning and the crew remembers some kids sitting there the 
day before.

Remember, Fred, graffiti is now considered "cultural expression", not 
vandalism. That's what a former hospital employee used as a defense when he 
was suspended pending termination for tagging up the linen carts. He was 
actually fired and stayed fired. The fact that he didn't get his job back 
amazed us old timers.
