Since PRCo subjects seem slow, here are some Cleveland heavy rail items.
These were taken today while I was sitting on the Cuyahoga River Viaduct
waiting to leave Public Square Station. Last night a severe storm caused a
power outage to the signal system from West 25th Stn, west, to West
Blvd/Detroit Stn. Until 5pm we were only operating from Public Square, east,
to Windermere. Buses filled in for rail cars on the West Side. So I snapped
a few quick pics while sitting on the viaduct.
I had said in another post that the RTA Heavy Rail Cars have large cabs.
They are the entire width of the car and are at least 4 feet deep. Lots of
room for the operator.
