I use the incinerator in my house to burn all the waste paper.  When it's
hot enough, combustion is pretty thorough.  I no longer burn food remnants
since the disposal was added to the sink.  But I do not feed landfills in
Pennsylvania's hollows with everyday trash.  Every 3-4 months, I take a
garbage can half full of ashes to the curb.

I think we'd be a lot better off if we'd burn everything burnable at the
right temperature because it isn't dirty if done correctly, and it's silly
to ruin the landscape with landfills.
