Stay tuned.  Dave "Mr. Roster" Hamley is currently researching an article on
the history of the steel high floor cars.  It's likely to turn up in Trolley
Fare soon.  He and I are scheduled to work on the project tomorrow morning,
in fact.

It was my impression that the last 4000s and 4100s were replaced by  
the first two orders of PCC cars.   There were also some 4700s  
written off the books at the time too and also trailers.
