It is pastable; here is the error message I received:
"None of the requested collections are authorized to this user."
I get the same identical error message for the following Urls:
http://tinyurl.com/WoodFifth
http://tinyurl.com/GrantAccident
http://tinyurl.com/SmithfieldWater
These are from the UOP photo collection which started with one
posted by Mr.Barry - derailment of 1666:
http://lists.dementia.org/files/pittsburgh-railways/derail_number68_ca1950.jpg
These photos could be enlarged considerably; now they seem
to be removed from public view. Why?
Here is the above Url reconstructed:
http://images.library.pitt.edu/cgi-bin/i/image/image-idx?xc=1;g=imls;sid=e0b75884b20e57f98b2dae334d7f3c3f;q1=billboard;rgn1=ic_all;size=20;lasttype=boolean;view=entry;lastview=thumbnail;subview=detail;cc=r
I don't see anything difficult to learn with tinyurl:
http://tinyurl.com/
One puts the long Url in the top box and does one of 2 things:
1-Click 'Make TinyURL'
2-Insert custom 'alias' in second box, then click 'Make TinyURL'
Tiny will also place a toolbar within your browser; it is in the
middle of the 'tiny' page above. Then all one needs to do is
click on tinyurl in the browser header in an open photo and a
tinyurl is automatically generated. Can't use a custom alias
with this method but it is very fast and simple isn't it.
