Mr.Brannon;

The comment about State grants / funding for the museum
being a breach of separation of Church and State makes it
a religious issue doesn't it.

It still seems we are missing the main point -- seniors at
church are most likely to have memories of trolleys; are
most likely to be out on Sunday morning and thus have
the afternoon free to visit the museum. Those attending
ballgames, the symphony, etc. will likely do that in the
afternoon won't they. I don't 'read into this' that PTM is
purposely excluding others. In fact, the whole concept
of 'senior discount' can be 'offensive' to the rest of
society. If we really did some 'thinking' I am sure we
could find an infinite number of inequalities in this
very same topic. To go further astray, cable companies
offer incentives to new customers but not those customers
who have been faithful and true for many years and even
decades.  Is this fair?

'If' this is a mistake on the part of PTM then it is such a
small mistake as to be immeasurable isn't it. From what I
see PTM is near the top in the quality of work and services
provided for this type of museum. Thanks to one and all
at PTM for such excellent dedication, blood, sweat, and tears
to provide the public with evidence of past transit today and
tomorrow (I included your current 'thought for the day'
didn't I.)

Generally, the message is complete before the signature isn't
it.  Your signature included here:

Herb Brannon
On America's North Coast

sticks in my memory and always causes me to chuckle.
Therefore I didn't look further to learn of the Mr.Rooney(?)
likeness. I am not against thinking; I have done much of
the same.  I am generally interested in the railway, PRC;
other matters here don't encourage my thinking process.

Without a 'coast' but not a 'cause!'
