Yesterday I saw it boldly proclaimed at a mall in suburban Philadelphia, so it has at least migrated east 300 miles.

Just a comment that "Black Friday" is a Pittsburghism.  People in the 
Midwest draw a blank stare if you say, "Black Friday".
