West Philly is okay to 43rd or so, but I never found it that
interesting.  I'd guess that 2.5 hours is enough time to go to Center
City (via the trolley subway, Market-Frankford El, or walking) and
have lunch in a restaurant, or to ride the 15-Girard trolley, but
probably not both.  There's enough variety in restaurants that it's
more a matter of what kind of food you want than what's available.

If you just want to walk around, the east bank of the Schuylkill is a
trail from Locust up past the Art Museum.
