The Nov-09-1925 has a couple interesting articles:
"Conductor Con says:"
"New cars for the Washington, Pa., interurban route have
been received and two of them have been placed in service.
They are the last word in trollies, the most modern cars
that industry has so far provided."
"Who has not felt the magnificence of snow, reflecting the
full moon from its crystallized surface, the warm lights from
an interurban speeding through the prize country of America.
He who has not seen the farm houses of Allegheny and
Washington counties, almost hidden by the big drifts of
whiteness, has beauties that are yet to unfold before him."

"The Power Problem"
"The Pittsburgh Railways Company, during the past few
months, has expended nearly $700,000 in sub-stations,
by it trying to remedy the power problem that has
confronted it for some years."
"With this expenditure the Wilkinsburg district is assured
for some years to come of adequate current to conduct
the tremendous task of transportation. Carrick and a
portion of the South Hills, by the new station on Brownsville
avenue to be completed towards the end of the year,
will likewise get relief from a low current condition that has
made regular trolley service there one of difficulty."
"From time to time, as its finances permit, the Railways
Company hopes to increase its power facilities and
guarantee the entire community unbroken trolley service."

And this:
"The Mellon Institute of the University of Pittsburgh is
undertaking an extensive research into what some
people have cutely called 'sleep.'
Have many volunteered to be 'subjects?'"
