While this is not related to trolleys, I thought some might be interested.
 
My wife and I recently spent a week driving about South Florida.  In one of
the hotels' brochure racks, where you normally expect to learn about
regional attractions and shopping "opportunities," I was more than a little
surprised to find a full-color, 8-page brochure extolling the virtues of
dealing with a pawn shop company at one of its nine branches.
 
I suppose it meets a need.
