Actually, I made the mistake of assuming that Mark and Mike went on the 1:30
TDB trip, since I didn't hear from them. I was around until nearly 2. Wish
I had checked further.

While I have been known to set off the sub-optimal security system supplied
by the lowest-cost bidder, I do go in and out of the building as needed! I
have a phone number to call when this happens.

Next trip, Mark!

Had I known you were going to show up for sure, Derrick, I may have been
able to coax my brother into staying and maybe Ed could have gotten all of
us in to the Blimp Hangar. But as he told me, he and alarms don't do well
together. At least the Blimp Hangar's alarm.
Oh, I believe that same person got the lump of coal on our car also. ;>)

I heard it was rather full until Altoona.

After my San Antonio trip I did the same (usually)

Santa asked Gwen and I if we were good and kept our rooms clean. In unison,
without prior conspiracy, we answered "No.". In spite of a second naughty
answer we got a candy cane. The New York Rangers fans didn't even get the
lump of coal, tho someone on my car did.

I would have had more time to chat with you, Fred. I left it up to my
brother whether or not he wished to see the Troley Display Building, and he
declined. The weather wasn't the greatest and once again my zipper failed me
on my good leather jacket. It seems that every time I come up there, a
zipper fails in one of my jackets.

Review about the Toledo, it was pretty good. I remember seeing Scott Becker
in the building before we entered. I was in the back marveling the work on
4398 and wondered why people were allowed on the Toledo when work was being
done on it. The article will explain why in fact they shouldn't have been. I
respected the workers and did not venture a peek inside. I wished I had, but
there were people all over the place and just took a photo of the outside of
the car.

I saw the article, and while I like you probably would not have entered I
was a little bummed as I think we arrived at the museum at 1:15. Every time
I've brought Gwen we just missed the blimp hangar tour. Doh!

Sorry we missed you!

>  At any rate, I hope to get back up there when I have more time to myself.
Although this is our hobby and it both fills us with joy and intrigue to
talk about it, alas, there are people out there that just don't have the
same interest, my brother being one of them. I did get a kick out of his
eyes lighting up when he saw 1711, however. This is the type of car he
remembered , having lived in Castle Shannon for a good portion of his youth.
