I think they still have some way to go to make this as easy to use as Google 
maps :)
There is an up/down arrow icon to the right of the "zoom in" magnifying 
glass icon which will give you the full page with the article.

Clicking on the newspaper name and date link (in the same light blue bar, 
but on the left) will take you back to the front page.

I am still finding my way around the Google news archive. When the OCR is 
good enough to be searchable, it is excellent, but some way of quickly 
browsing sequential issues when looking for a story which the search doesn't 
find would be nice.
