Subject: [PRCo] Re: Pittsburgh Railways Interurban
The map I used to create the wikipedia map comes from
the Zelienople Historical Society article
"All aboard the Harmony Line" -
http://www.fyi.net/~zhs/HarmonyLine/welcome.htm and is
the same image that you attach. I did the Pittsburgh Railways
Interurban map on wikipedia as well, this time from a map found at
http://eldorapark.com/trolley/era-forward.htm which is a copy of a
map used in "Electric Railroads, Number 20, Lackawanna
Terminal, Hoboken, New Jersey: Electric Railroaders
Association, Inc. July 1952. Please let me know if I have any
of the details wrong as I live 4000 miles away from Pittsburgh
I can't pop down to the local library to check :)

Greetings;
Thank you for sharing this information. Another email took Wikipedia
to task mostly because 'text' information can be posted and revised
somewhat at whim. Most of us are old enough to know such pitfalls
without a sermon. Recognizing this I still find Wikipedia to be very
interesting and informative; facts may need checking for verification.
The maps of PRCo and Butler are interesting and informative. My
original comment re: PRCo is just an observation isn't it. It reveals
the stops before the interurbans ran locally through Overbrook to
Castle Shannon.
Are you in Alaska, Hawaii, or some other direction? You must have
specific interest in the Pittsburgh region. Have you lived in Pgh?
Phil
Without a 'coast' but not a 'cause.'
